Arrival and Transfer to GANGTOK

Arrival at Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Gangtok Nearly 135 kilometers 4 - 5 hours drive .

  Day 2

Excursion to Tsomgo (Changu) Lake & Baba Mandir

Morning breakfast at hotel Excursion Tsomgo (Changu) Lake & Baba Mandir ( New ) nearly 40 kilometers.

• Nathu La Pass (optional, closed on Mon & Tue)
Excursion to Tsomgo (Changu) Lake
Tsomgo (Changu) Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep. • Generally covered in snow during winter. • This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds. This is one of the few and awesome high altitude lakes in India. The lake becomes doubly attractive with the reflections of the surrounding hills on the water. •Tourist attractions at the lake site include joy rides on decorated yaks and mules where kiosks offer variety of food and drinks. • As the lake is located in a restricted area it is essential for all Indians visiting the area to obtain permits. In case of foreign nationals special permit is essential.
Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir
Baba Harbajan Singh Memorial Temple built in the memory of Harbajan, a sepoy in the Punjab Regiment. --- The legend has it that he appeared to his colleagues in a dreams a few days after he went missing while patrolling the border, and informed them about way to find his body and --- expressed a desire that a Samadhi be built in his memory, which over the years acquired the status of a pilgrimage site,
  Day 3

Gangtok Local Sight Seeing (Half Day) & Transfer to Pelling

After breakfast drive for the city tour of Gangtok
It is not possible to cover all the spot in single day hence we make the program with points covering minimum distance traveled.
• Visit to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom,
• Research Institute of Tibetology,
• Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery,
• White Hall, Flower Show,

Transfer to Pelling (125 kilometers 4 - 5 hours)
• Pelling is at an altitude of 6800 feet / 2072 meters. On a clear day guest can get a clear view of Himalayan range.

Check into Hotel. Overnight stay in Pelling.
Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery,
The Do-Drul Chorten is one of the most recognisable stupas in Gangtok. Inside this stupa is a complete set of Dorjee Phurba, Kangyur and other religious objects. Around the stupa are 108 Mani Lhakor or prayer wheels.
  Day 4

PELLING Half Day Sight Seen & Transfer to DARJEELING

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive for Sight Seeing of Pelling and its surroundings -
The routes are forested , botanical and zoological richness is inspiring.

Pemayangtse Monastery
Built in 1705, the Pemayangtse Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. -----The most unique feature of the monastery is a wooden structure.
RABDENTSE Ruins
RABDENTSE Ruins is the ruins of capital of Sikkim kingdom from 1670 to 1814. ------Before Gangtok, Rabdentse was the capital of Sikkim Kingdom. It is a small trek through woodland to reach the ruins.
SKY WALK
The Glass Skywalk is India's first ever glass - bottomed skywalk, set in the picturesque town of Pelling in, west Sikkim. ----It is 200 feet long and 55 feet high. The complex houses a 137 ft (42 m) tall statue of the bodhisattva Chenrezig, the tallest Chenrezig statue in the world. -------The Chenrezig statue and skywalk are a tourist attraction.
  Day 5

Darjeeling Local Sight Seeing

• Tiger Hill Sunrise : Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters
to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather)
[ Please where your warm clothes as it will be chill at the top ]

On the way back from Tiger Hill to Hotel visit

Ghoom Monastery is also known as the Yiga Choeling Monastery. It belongs to the Yellow Hat sect, also known as the Gelugpa and houses a 15-foot statue of Maitreya also known as the Future Buddha.

The Batasia Loop is a spiral railway created to lower the gradient of ascent of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. At this point, the track spirals around over itself through a tunnel and over a hilltop. It was commissioned in 1919

Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center
Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre in Darjeeling, India, is a rehabilitation centre for the Tibetan refugees in the Darjeeling Himalayan hill region. It was established on 2 October 1959, after they followed Dalai Lama and escaped from Tibet. The production of Tibetan handicraft is the centre's main activity.
