Excursion to Tsomgo (Changu) Lake
Tsomgo (Changu) Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep. • Generally covered in snow during winter. • This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds. � This is one of the few and awesome high altitude lakes in India. The lake becomes doubly attractive with the reflections of the surrounding hills on the water. •Tourist attractions at the lake site include joy rides on decorated yaks and mules where kiosks offer variety of food and drinks. • As the lake is located in a restricted area it is essential for all Indians visiting the area to obtain permits. In case of foreign nationals special permit is essential.
Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir

Nathu La Pass

Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery,
The Do-Drul Chorten is one of the most recognisable stupas in Gangtok. Inside this stupa is a complete set of Dorjee Phurba, Kangyur and other religious objects. Around the stupa are 108 Mani Lhakor or prayer wheels.
Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok
Shri Appa B Pant built Ganesh Tok between 1952 and 1953. Situated on top of a hill, the quaint place has mind-stirring views - the Kanchenjunga hill can be seen in its true form of glory from here and is at its best especially in the morning. Hanuman Tok is a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is believed that he had rested here before proceeding to Lanka with the Drongiri Mountain.

GANGTOK to Pelling (optional: via Namchi )

Transfer to Pelling . This is a drive of 125 kilometers 3 - 4 hours through scenic road.
Pelling is situated at an altitude of 2072 meters / 6800 feet. Pelling is a tiny hamlet town in West Sikkim. On a clear day guest can get a clear view of Himalayan range with snow capped mount Pandim, Kumbhakarna, Rathong, Khangchendzonga, Narsing, Sinolchu etc.
It is one of the exotic settlements with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids, historical sites, Short Trek Routesand wildlife.

On your way, if TIME permits you can opt for
• OPTIONAL TOUR to visit Namchi, Char Dam and Samdruptse Statue (at an Additional COSTING).

CHARDHAM
This unique Pilgrim Centre has a main temple of 108 feet height on which is based the 87 feethigh statue of Lord Shiva on the sitting posture at the Solophok Hill. Apart from Shiva statue, this PilgrimCentre also has replicas of the twelve Jyotirlingas, to offer one platform for Shiva devotees. SolophokChardham Lord Shiva incarnated as Kirateshwar in Indrakeel (Present Sikkim). ----Therefore, in thisincarnation he is locally worshipped by the people of Sikkim as Lord Kirateshwar. RABDENTSE Ruins
RABDENTSE Ruins is the ruins of capital of Sikkim kingdom from 1670 to 1814. ------Before Gangtok, Rabdentse was the capital of Sikkim Kingdom. It is a small trek through woodland to reach the ruins.
SKY WALK
The Glass Skywalk is India's first ever glass - bottomed skywalk, set in the picturesque town of Pelling in, west Sikkim. ----It is 200 feet long and 55 feet high. The complex houses a 137 ft (42 m) tall statue of the bodhisattva Chenrezig, the tallest Chenrezig statue in the world. -------The Chenrezig statue and skywalk are a tourist attraction.
Pemayangtse Monastery
Built in 1705, the Pemayangtse Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. -----The most unique feature of the monastery is a wooden structure.
Kanchenjunga Waterfalls
Kanchenjunga Waterfalls” : is 24 km from Pelling, Kanchenjunga Waterfalls is a stunning waterfall situated in the beautiful hill town of Pelling, Sikkim. It is one of the largest waterfalls in Sikkim and among the prime Pelling Tourist Places. ------It is believed that the pristine waterfall originates high up in the glaciers of Mount Kanchenjunga, the 3rd highest peak in the world. ----It gushes down from a height of 100 feet into a pool.

Ghoom Monastery is also known as the Yiga Choeling Monastery. It belongs to the Yellow Hat sect, also known as the Gelugpa and houses a 15-foot statue of Maitreya also known as the Future Buddha.
Peace memorial & Batasia Loop
The Batasia Loop is a spiral railway created to lower the gradient of ascent of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. At this point, the track spirals around over itself through a tunnel and over a hilltop. It was commissioned in 1919

Tensing Gumpo Rock
The huge Tenzing rock is named after Tenzing Norgay, who was famous for climbing the Mount Everest accompanied by Edmund Hillary in the year 1953. Gombu Rock has got its name after Nawang Gombu. He was Tenzing's nephew and he had climbed the Everest twice and became the first person to do so.
Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center
Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre in Darjeeling, India, is a rehabilitation centre for the Tibetan refugees in the Darjeeling Himalayan hill region. It was established on 2 October 1959, after they followed Dalai Lama and escaped from Tibet. The production of Tibetan handicraft is the centre's main activity.
