Excursion to Changu (Tsomgo) Lake & Baba Mandir

Nathu La Pass

  Day 3

Gangtok to Lachung

Early morning breakfast , Next start for North Sikkim tour. Proceed to Lachung 120 kilometers 4-5 hours.

Lachung is situated at an altitude of 8600 feet .
Confluence of Lachen chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang
• Twin Waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls.

Lunch break will at Namok
- The roads are colored with full bloom of Primulae, Rhododendrons and many other Alpine flowers specially during spring.

Guest are likely to reach Lachung at late afternoon or early evening.

Naga Water Falls
Naga falls is one of the longest and the scenic waterfalls with very clean and ice-cold water. It is a multi-tiered waterfall. The main fall is quite far from the main road so one needs to trek on a rocky path to get the view. The place offer panoramic view of snow-caped mountains all around.

Lachung - Yumthang Valley Day Excursion

After an early breakfast at the hotel in Lachung, proceed for a breathtaking excursion to Yumthang Valley, famously known as the “Valley of Flowers of Sikkim”. The drive takes you through stunning Himalayan landscapes, snow-capped peaks (seasonal), alpine forests, and the pristine Lachung Chu River flowing alongside the road.

Lachung to Gangtok

After an breakfast at the hotel in Lachung, check out and proceed towards Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim.

The drive offers mesmerizing views of the Eastern Himalayas, alpine forests, waterfalls, and river valleys. Travel along the scenic routes following the Lachung Chu and Teesta River, with several picturesque photo stops en route.

Gangtok to Pelling via Namchi

After an early breakfast at the hotel in Gangtok,check out & begin your scenic journey towards Pelling via Namchi. The drive offers mesmerizing views of the Eastern Himalayas, winding mountain roads, lush valleys, and charming Sikkimese villages. Pelling is situated at an altitude of 6800 feet. Pelling is a tiny hamlet town in West Sikkim.

Pemayangtse Monastery
Built in 1705, the Pemayangtse Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. The most unique feature of the monastery is a wooden structure.
Rabdentse Ruins
Rabdentse was the second capital of the former Kingdom of Sikkim from 1670 to 1814. The capital city was destroyed by the invading Gurkha army and only the ruins of the palace and the chortens are seen here now. The Rabdentse ruins are part of Buddhist religious pilgrimage circuit starting with the first monastery at Yuksom known as the Dubdi Monastery,
SKY WALK
The Glass Skywalk is India's first ever glass - bottomed skywalk, set in the picturesque town of Pelling in, west Sikkim. ----It is 200 feet long and 55 feet high. The complex houses a 137 ft (42 m) tall statue of the bodhisattva Chenrezig, the tallest Chenrezig statue in the world. -------The Chenrezig statue and skywalk are a tourist attraction.
KHECHEOPALRI Lake & Monastery
Located 34 kilometers to the northwest of Pelling town,----- the lake is sacred for both Buddhists and Hindus, and is believed to be a wish fulfilling lake.

Pelling to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station

After breakfast transfer to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station Nearly 135 kilometers 5-6 hours drive . Guest are advised to start early and not to rush - Forwarding Journey.

  • 100% Within10 Days of Tour Departure
